Social Media: It is increasingly more common these days for a website or advertisement to ask you to follow them on Facebook, Twitter, or any number of other Social Media websites. One problem being is that these websites require that you sign-up to view their information. Another key problem is that information added to these sites must stay current, so that followers do not see the same stale information that was posted over a month ago. New visitors coming to your sites will not even bother adding you to their lists if you are not current with the information. These sites if updated regularly and have something to offer can be used as an effective tool for promotion, and as an online marketing strategy. They should not be used as a cheap replacement for your actual name-branded website. This will instill a lack of confidence in your future clientele. For our purposes WebCrosser Designs uses Twitter to post the updates we provide for our current clientele as well as advertise their services from time to time.
